Guthrie District Duals

This last Thursday afternoon the Guthrie boys wrestling team held the distinct dual where Guthrie has hosted and won for the past 4 years. It was 64-14 after the matches were over with The Blue-jays winning without a contest.

A good match was a match between the 144 weight class last night with The blue-jays having Senior Luke Lyons and going against Bishop Kelley's Cole Hill. The match went to the very end of the time,The score for the match was 16-2 with Luke Lyons winning

After the match Luke Lyons had this to say “It was a good match honestly i could’ve done thing a little bit better but just gotta improve and move forward”

The dual was originally supposed to have the teams Del City, Bishop Kelley, and Edison Preparatory high schools. Unfortunately Edison Prep never showed up to the dual. At the moment there's no reason why they went there other than they just didn’t show up.
