Guthrie High School Blood Drive

Sign up to donate blood for the Guthrie high school blood drive on Tuesday, Nov. 4th in the school library from 9 am - 2pm sign up in Ms. Albrecht room. Must have an ID and/or Permission slip from parents. Receive a free J. Will T-shirt when you donate blood. Community members are allowed to donate blood as well, all you need to do is check in through the front office the requirements for all donors be at least 16 years old. (Signed parental permission required for all donors who are 16 or 17 years old) Weigh at least: 125 lbs. if 16 or 17 years old 110 lbs. if 18 or older Eat a good meal AND drink plenty of fluids before & after donating. Get a good night’s sleep before donating. PRESENT A PHOTO ID If an ID is not available, GHS students can be identified using last year's yearbook. Honor cord program: Students who donate at least six times by May 1 of their graduating year can receive a cord to wear at graduation.
