Dessert Revue GHS Choir 2025-2026
The Guthrie High-school Choir Program delivered a mesmerizing performance Tuesday, September 30th, captivating the audience with their vocal talent and artistic interpretation. The annual Dessert Revue featured a diverse selection of music featuring many amazing soloists, as well as the Junior High and High School vocal programs.
Under the direction of Bill Perring, the choir demonstrated exceptional control and precision, blending their voices in perfect harmony. Highlights of the evening included an impressive rendition of “We Know the Way” from Moana and an exciting performance of “You Can’t Stop the Beat”, with fun visual moves. Featured soloists include Jadyn Brown, Blake Blackburn, Julia Davis, Rei Grimes, Mary Daniel, Uriah Moore, Abby Christy, Laina Richardson. Jayden Montgomery and Leia Johnston performed “For Good” from Wicked, dedicated to Bill Perring. The Junior High Choir performed “It’s the Hard Knock Life” from Annie and “When I Grow Up/Naughty” from Matilda, as well as selections from soloists Jackson Sneed, Lillie Benton, and Ruby Richardson.
The concert was not only a display of musical talent but also a celebration of community and the power of music to unite people. The Guthrie High School’s performance left a lasting impression on all who attended, solidifying their amazing reputation.
