High School Students Excel at ECOCDA Regional Choir Performance

A group of talented high school vocalists from Guthrie High School proudly represented their school at the Eastern Central Oklahoma Choral Directors Association (ECOCDA) Regional Choir, held this past week at Southern Hills Baptist Church in Oklahoma City.

After successfully auditioning on October 6, these selected students joined singers from across the region for two full days of rehearsals on November 3 and 4, creating a remarkable concert performance on the evening of November 4th: Uriah Moore, Laina Richardson, Lindy Reed, Nikole Rowan, Jayden Montgomery, Abby Christy, Blake Blackburn, Brooklyn Mason, Emma Martin, Leia Johnston. 

Under the guidance of guest conductors, the students spent the entirety of two days learning complicated music and expanding their musical skills.
